Sarah Van Norman is an artist, art therapist, social researcher, and writer. Sarah came to art therapy from the social sciences, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Guelph, and a Masters of Philosophy in Ethnic and Racial Studies from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland.

She is currently completing Post Graduate work at the European Graduate School in Expressive Arts: Therapy, Consulting, Education and Social Change. Sarah lives in Squamish, British Columbia and is looking forward to the short but breathtaking commute into the Institute in West Vancouver each morning. Sarah brings fervor and passion for art, therapy, and academia that culminates perfectly in her new role.
