Before You Apply
Prospective international students should review the Art Therapy Application Process, Expressive Arts Therapy Application Process, Art Therapy Program, and Expressive Arts Therapy Program.
Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP): This program is not currently represented by VATI as eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit program. Applicants should review current IRCC information and seek independent immigration advice where appropriate.

Orientation & Learning Supports
VATI provides international students with education/programs progress assistance and learning support services throughout their studies. Program progression assistance may include guidance regarding attendance expectations, academic progress, course sequencing, practicum requirements, and progression through the program of study. Learning support may include instructor guidance, program advisement, practicum consultation, access to learning resources, administrative support, and referral to additional services where appropriate.
International students are encouraged to contact VATI as early as possible if they need support with coursework, program requirements, practicum progression, attendance, or other aspects for academic success. Housing & Tenancy
VATI does not provide on-campus housing. Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation in Vancouver or the surrounding area. For information about tenancy rights and responsibilities in British Columbia, please review the Residential Tenancy Branch.
Health, Safety & Wellness

Registered post-secondary students in British Columbia can access free, confidential mental health support through Here2Talk.
