Micheala Slipp, EdD
Instructor
Micheala is an educator, consultant, art therapist, and researcher working in areas where creativity, health, culture, technology and policy intersect.

She has completed post-doctoral research in the regulation of mental and substance health practices across Canada while completing a degree in law with research focused on liability in clinical supervision. She holds a Doctor of Education in online education, a Master’s in Creative Arts Therapies, a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a B.A. in Psychology. She has a special interest in supporting the growth and wellness of mental health practitioners through education, consultation, and policy advocacy work. Her clinical focus includes the integration of poly-vagal theory and Somatic Experiencing trauma work with metaphor and creativity in psychotherapy. Micheala has over 20 years of experience in the field and has been avidly engaged with art media since she was a small child.
